What happens to my current energy contract?

Arbor helped connect you with your current energy supplier. That agreement stays in place until your Energywell battery is installed and your new rate activates. Once installation is complete, your prior energy contract cancels automatically—no termination fees, no overlap, no hassle.
Do I have to buy the battery? Do I own it?
No. Energywell installs, owns, and maintains the system at no cost. Participation, not ownership, unlocks the value for you and for the grid.
Are there installation or monthly fees for the battery?
Installation, maintenance, and equipment are included at no cost to you. You only pay for the energy you use each month, at the rate agreed upon at sign-up and again at renewal.
What happens during an outage?
The battery automatically provides backup power to your home—often without you noticing.
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. You'll need to own your home to participate. Our team will confirm any additional qualifiers during your Virtual Site Survey.
How long does installation take?
