What happens to my AutoSave agreement?

Your AutoSave agreement stays active through the entire pre-installation period—you'll never pay more than ComEd's rate while you wait. When your Energywell battery installation is complete and your new guaranteed savings rate activates, your AutoSave agreement is automatically cancelled. No action required on your end.
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. You'll need to own your home to participate. There are a few other qualifiers as well—our team will confirm everything during your Virtual Site Survey.
Does charging the battery create any additional costs?
No. Any electricity the battery draws to operate is on us—you only pay for the electricity you use.
What is the Lowest Rate Guarantee?
Your electricity rate agreement renews after two years. At each renewal, your new Energywell rate is guaranteed to beat ComEd's Price to Compare. If you find a lower comparable rate from another licensed Illinois retail provider, let us know. We'll match it, beat it, or let you cancel your Battery Services Agreement without any fees or penalties.
What if I want to keep my battery but switch electricity providers later?
If you decide to move your electricity supply to another provider, you don't have to give up your battery. You can keep the system installed, keep your backup protection, and keep active management by our team for a flat $99/month Battery Services Fee. You can switch back to Energywell electricity supply at any time.
How long does installation take?
Illinois installation timelines are longer than other markets due to permitting and interconnection requirements. We'll keep you informed at every step—and your Think Energy service stays active the entire time.
