Your Think Energy supply agreement stays in place until your Energywell battery is installed and your new rate activates. Once installation is complete, your Think Energy contract cancels automatically—no termination fees, no overlap, no hassle.
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. You'll need to own your home to participate. There are a few other qualifiers as well—our team will confirm everything during your Virtual Site Survey.
Does charging the battery create any additional costs?
No. Any electricity the battery draws to operate is on us—you only pay for the electricity you use.
What is the Lowest Rate Guarantee?
Your electricity rate agreement renews after two years. At each renewal, your new Energywell rate is guaranteed to beat ComEd's Price to Compare. If you find a lower comparable rate from another licensed Illinois retail provider, let us know. We'll match it, beat it, or let you cancel your Battery Services Agreement without any fees or penalties. Your rate is not guaranteed to be the lowest available for the full duration of your contract, but your renewal rate will always beat ComEd's Price to Compare.
How long does installation take?
