What happens to my Community Solar contract?

Your Community Solar benefits remain unchanged. The great thing about Community Solar is it can be combined with other retail energy benefits, so when you sign up for a home battery through Energywell, you’ll be eligible to receive the benefits of both Think Community Solar and Energywell. More to love!
Do I need to own my home?
Yes. You'll need to own your home to participate. There are a few other qualifiers as well—our team will confirm everything during your Virtual Site Survey.
Will putting a battery in my home make my energy usage go up?
No. Any electricity the battery draws to operate is on us—it never appears on your bill. Your bill reflects only what your home actually used.
What is the Lowest Rate Guarantee?]
Your electricity rate agreement renews after five years. At each renewal, your new Energywell rate is guaranteed to beat ComEd's Price to Compare. If you find a lower comparable rate from another licensed Illinois retail provider, let us know. We'll match it, beat it, or let you cancel your Battery Services Agreement without any fees or penalties. Your rate is not guaranteed to be the lowest available for the full duration of your contract, but your renewal rate will always beat ComEd's Price to Compare.
